Signed on this Spalding (SC/LP/NTM) (USA), official National League model M/R Ford C. Frick baseball, are the signatures from Hall of Fame legends Babe Ruth, Mel Ott, Hank Aaron and Willie Mays. Also, appearing on this baseball is the signature of former San Francisco Giants manager Charlie Fox. The man whose name is synonymous with baseball, New York Yankee slugger Babe Ruth’s signature appears on the sweet spot of this baseball (Ruth signature is barely visible). New York Giants Mel Ott who was the first National League player to surpass 500 home runs, signature appears on the side panel of this baseball underneath Aaron’s signature (Ott’s signature appears very faintly). Atlanta Braves Hank Aaron, the man who first broke Ruth’s career home run record signature appears along the side panel of this ball just below the red stitching above Ott’s signature (Aaron signature is slightly faded). San Francisco Giants Willie Mays who dominated the outfield catching just about anything that was hit his way signature appears on the side panel of the ball next to the Spalding logo (Mays signature appears slightly faded). Lastly, San Francisco Giants manager of the year in 1971, who also had a very brief stint with the club in 1942 signature, appears along the balls side panel centered between the balls red stitching (Fox signature appears faded). All signatures were signed in black with a fiber-tip marker. Item comes with a full LOA from JSA (Y43002).
