Ever since the turn of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the New York Stock Exchange, the business of financial news reporting became big business. This is a complete monthly supplement to “The Wall Street Daily News,” a daily journal published at Exchange Place, NYC devoted to financial interests established 1879; pre-dating another publication by the same name that first published in 1889 and is still published today, the “Wall Street Journal.” The paper supplement unfolds to 21.75 X 23 and posts the highest and lowest prices and total sales of stocks and petroleum for July, 1892. This record provides a rare glimpse of “Wall Street” from a bygone era.
