Ichiro Suzuki has hand signed this 2014 Game Used Yankee Stadium Ball from both his and Derek Jeter’s final season with the NY Yankees. On July 20th, 2014 the New York Yankees beat the Cincinnati Reds at Yankee Stadium with a walk off in the 9th, winning 3-2. For the 50th season win of Derek Jeter’s final season, Ichiro had 1 hit and Jeter had 2; earning his 27th final season RBI in the process. As the 1st Japanese-born player to be signed to the Major Leagues, Ichiro led the AL in batting average and stolen bases en route to being named AL Rookie of the Year and AL MVP in 2001. Ichiro has established a number of batting records, including MLB’s single-season record for hits with 262. He had 10 consecutive 200-hit seasons, the longest streak by any player in history. Between his career hits in Japan’s and America’s Major Leagues, Ichiro stands at 3rd place all-time in top-flight hits; trailing only Pete Rose and Ty Cobb.
