2012 American League Rookie of the Year Mike Trout used this 33.5 inch Old Hickory J143 bat during the 2012 Major League season. The bat is un-cracked and shows evidence of game use with an impression from a weighted batting donut. Ball marks with stitch impressions can be found on the left and back barrel. A moderate coat of Mota Stick is on the lower handle and Trout has added his customary spiral-pattern adhesive tape to the knob to enhance his grip. The knob end has Trout’s initials “MT” in pencil and “5” has been hand-written in pencil for 5th bat in the order. PSA/DNA sticker number 1B5746 is affixed to the knob. Trout has signed the bat in matching silver ink with the added notation “2012 G/U AL ROY”. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA (1B09364) who have graded this bat a perfect GU 10 and a LOA from Anderson Authentics signed by Mike Trout.
