After a long 42-year drought - quenched only briefly by their last ALCS berth in '86 - Angels fans finally had their prayers answered with the franchise's first World Series appearance, and first World Championship in 2002! After upsetting the defending American League Champion - New York Yankees in the ALDS, and then coming-back against the Minnesota Twins in the ALCS, Mike Scioscia's Wild-Card Winged Warriors had their backs against the wall once again, down 3-games-to-2, with a late inning 5-run deficit in Game-6, to the S.F. Giants in the “Fall Classic”. Suddenly, like they’ve done all season long, the Angels turned-the-tables on the Giants, for an amazing come-back victory, which would lead to ultimate glory for Anaheim! Crafted by Intergold, which is now a Jostens company ….this large (player’s size) 10K Yellow Gold ring, weighs an impressive 45-Grams of solid 10K, and has a dazzling, genuine diamond-and-ruby "A" display on top, paying perfect tribute to that fairytale season! This gorgeous ring measures a size-12.5 on the mandrel, and is complemented by a detailed, stirring shank scene of Edison Field, the Commissioner's Trophy and "ANGELS 1ST CHAMPIONSHIP." The opposite shank offers the World Series logo, the enameled MLB logo, with the Angels' record and the name “LAFERLA”, who was a high-up executive with the team. In Nr. Mint condition, and accompanied by the original, high-gloss wood presentation box(8" x 5" x 2-1/2", NM) with a glass lid for prominent display.
