Jackson, Bauer, Ford, Guidry, Martin, Torre, Pepitone, O'Neill, Hunter, McCarthy, Huggins, Howard, Winfield, Steinbrenner, Richardson, Rivera, Rizzuto, Nettles, B. Williams, Lyle, Skowron, Dickey, Stengel, Berra, Lazzeri, Randolph and Mattingly. Even Mayor Rudy Giuliani makes a cameo appearance!

     Excellent condition aside from a 6" x 2" tear in the canvas (adjacent to the championship ring) that has been repaired with tape on the reverse. Signed and dated by the artist in the lower-left corner. An unparalleled Simon painting that would be the centerpiece of any serious sports-art collection. Robert Stephen Simon was one of the best known artists in the sports industry over the last 30 years. His accolades include being named Sports Artist of the Year, receiving the Presidential Seal of Honor, being displayed in the collections of the Baseball Hall of Fame and the White House, and being considered the "unofficial" artist of the Yankees. Among his other works are such well-known subjects as John Wayne, Elvis Presley, Louis Armstrong, Joe Louis and numerous other sports legends whom he so famously depicted.
