Considered one of the fastest boxers of his time, Joseph Loscalzo fought under the name Midget Wolgast and was the flyweight boxing champion. This 3 ½ x 5 ½ toned postcard has been signed by Wolgast in pencil and inscribed “To A Friend Marshall Leff Sincerely Your Worlds Champion”. The sepia toned postcard cover is titled “MIDGET WOLGAST World’s Flyweight CHAMPION” with “FRANK LOSCALZO-431 Broadway Paterson, N.J. Sh. 2-9332” and “JIMMY KELLY – 181 Sullivan St. N.Y.C. Chelsea 7-4242”. This postcard has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA (83918981) in a 4 ¼ x 7 ¼ holder and graded as AUTHENTIC.
