Always good in the clutch, Jorge Soler proved to be the perfect 4th outfielder during the Chicago Cubs miraculous resurrection. In the 2015 playoffs Soler proved he could deliver when the pressure was on, and in the 2016 World Series he batted .400 with a double. Soler wore these cleats during Game 2 in which he contributed a hit and a walk and had them on in the decisive Game 7 when the team charged out of the dugout to celebrate the Cubs first World Championship since 1908.
The Under Armour 200 size 14 cleats show great game use. There are abrasions and scuff marks throughout each cleat and many turf marks and stains. The adjustable Velcro ankle straps are functional and the silver-grey laces are original and intact. The cleats still retain a small portion of Progressive Field turf and grass and Soler has signed the toe of each cleat in blue marker adding his number “68” and “2016 World Series Champions G/U Game 7”. The cleats come with a full LOA from Anderson Authentics (2198 & 2199) for the game use and signature.
