Ramos McDonald played three seasons in the NFL for the Minnesota Vikings, San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants. Ramos, a cornerback, was drafted by the Vikings in the third round of the 1998 NFL Draft (80th overall). But his greatest thrill, of course, was playing for the 2000 Giants who made it to Super Bowl XXXV before falling victim to the Ravens. Before falling to the Ravens, the Giants dominated McDonald’s former team, the Minnesota Vikings, in the NFC Championship Game by a score of 41-0.
Offered is McDonald's Jostens 14K-gold, size 11, approximately 51 gram NFC Championship ring. This ring showcases 140 points' worth of diamonds and reads “N.F.C” across the top, “CHAMPIONS” along the bottom and the Giants “NY” in diamonds. There are nicely detailed shank designs which include a raised “41” the “George Halas Trophy” and “0”, which was the score of the NFC Championship Game and the Super Bowl XXXV logo. The other shank has a raised “McDonald”, “25”, the Giants helmet and “14-5”, which was their overall record. The ring is in NM condition and is accompanied by a Jostens presentation box.
