Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was presented with this “Top Faces of Black History” award in 2003. Abdul-Jabbar, a longtime champion for equality and human rights, was given this award “in appreciation and recognition of [his] contribution to improving the quality of life for all people.” This plaque measures 8 x 10 inches and features a McDonald’s logo inlaid in a raised gold laurel wreath. Also present on this plaque are New York Knicks and New York Liberty logos, as well as a third logo. This plaque was awarded to Abdul-Jabbar on February 1st, 2003. It comes with a LOA signed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
