Houston Oilers right outside linebacker Robert Brazile wore this white Oilers road jersey during a contest against the Atlanta Falcons at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium on September 23rd, 1984. Brazile, the sixth overall pick of the 1975 NFL Draft, played his entire 10 season career with the Oilers, making seven Pro Bowls and earning two First Team All-Pro selections. The 1975 Associated Press Defensive Rookie of the Year, Brazile is unofficially credited with 48 career sacks, with 11 coming after sacks became an official statistic in 1982. “Dr. Doom” was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018.

This offered Oilers road white jersey, worn during Houston’s 42-10 loss to the Falcons, features “BRAZILE” sewn across the back shoulders in light blue tackle twill over a matching white nameplate. The former Jackson State linebacker’s number “52” is printed on the chest, back, and shoulders in red and blue. An AFL Silver Anniversary patch is sewn on the left chest/shoulder area. A Russell Athletic tag is sewn on the back inside collar. This jersey has been photo matched to the September 23rd game by Resolution Photomatching, who have provided a LOA. This jersey also comes with a LOA from the equipment manager.
