Holiday Auction Closing December 7 ,2019

Offered is an Eli Manning signature and inscription on a souvenir ticket stub from the 2000 Music City Bowl, played December 28, 2000 at the Adelphia Coliseum in Nashville, Tennessee. Manning has signed his name in white marker in the lower third of the ticket stub, and inscribed “My 1st Bowl” at the top of the football trophy-shaped black and gray ticket stub. The 2000 college football season was Manning’s freshman year at the University of Mississippi, and he competed with veteran Romaro Miller for the starting quarterback position. Manning saw little playing time behind Miller, appearing in six games and passing for 170 total yards and one interception. In the 2000 Music City Bowl, West Virginia defeated Ole Miss 49–38. Although West Virginia won the game, it was notable because of a second half comeback led by Manning. Down 49–16 in the fourth quarter, Ole Miss coach David Cutcliffe inserted Manning, and Ole Miss scored 22 unanswered points in the fourth quarter.
