Ivan Rodriguez was one of the best defensive catchers of all time, in a Major League Baseball career that began in the 1991 season with the Texas Rangers and ended in 2011 with the Washington Nationals. The 13-time Gold Glove catcher used this bat circa 2009 when he split the season between both Texas teams and leagues. The Verdero Pro Model bat displays heavy game use and is un-cracked. The barrel is covered with ball marks and stitch impressions along with ink transfers and bat rack paint streaks. There are cleat imprints present along with the impression of a weighted batting donut. The handle has a heavy coat of pine tar and Pudge has signed this well-used gamer in bold black marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18212) for the game use and a LOA from Pudge Rodriguez. There is also a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A25438) for the signature.
