Alex Rodriguez has been a superstar since the day he was drafted, and in spite of all his career achievements, his best moments were in 2009, when he helped lead the New York Yankees to their most recent World Series title. Based upon factory ordering records, proper labeling and player use characteristics, this bat was used by Alex Rodriguez during the 2009 season. This 34 inch, 32 ounce (actual 30.7) Louisville Slugger C271L signature model bat shows evidence of outstanding game use. Many ball marks, stitch and cleat impressions, including ink transfers and white leather scuffs cover the barrel, and a heavy coating of MOTA stick exists on the handle. Stamped on the knob is the date of manufacture (7/24/2009), length (34) and weight (32oz.) The sweet spot contains a bold, silver Sharpie "Alex Rodriguez 2009 Game Used World Champs" signature and inscription. Full LOA from PSA/DNA, cert number 1B00410, graded PSA GU 10; and full LOA from PSA/DNA for the signature. This is a wonderful Alex Rodriguez gamer, from his most significant Yankee season, one which contains all his identifiable characteristics.
