In the 1990’s Tom Glavine combined with Greg Maddux and John Smoltz to form one of the best starting rotations in MLB history. Winning a combined 31 games in ‘95 and ‘96, Glavine was named the ‘95 World Series MVP. The Braves ace was also an above-average hitter, batting a combined .259 over the two seasons this bat dates from. The Louisville Slugger P138 exhibits excellent use and several ball and stitch marks can be seen on the barrel. White leather ball scuffs and blue bat rack streaks are visible. Glavine’s number “47” is hand written on the knob end in black marker. Glavine has signed the barrel in gold ink between the Louisville Slugger brand mark and his facsimile signature. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat GU 9.
