The amateur baseball club known as the “Hopkins A & L Club” earned this championship cup in 1911. The trophy, which is now more than a century old, is a beautifully crafted piece whose body is comprised of copper with gorgeous silver accents. There’s a decorative silver plaque on the front which reads: “PRESENTED BY THE DRAPER-MAYNARD CO HOPKINS A & L CLUB… CHAMPIONS OF JEWISH EDUCATIONAL ALLIANCE SENIOR BASEBALL LEAGUE 1911.” The plaque is crest-shaped with a pointer dog perched on top, while the base features crossed bats, ball and glove. This is a truly special and attractive antique baseball presentation cup. Overall Near Mint condition.
