This collection of 46 reel-to-reel tapes capture the game of college basketball during its initial heyday from the late 1950s through the mid-1960s. It contains mostly game of the Kansas Jayhawks but also includes many important non-Kansas game from the 1960s including the 1964 NCAA championship game between UCLA and Duke. However, the Kansas games recorded form 1956 through 1958 feature the great Wilt Chamberlain. There are also some other with the 1961 NCAA finals games with Ohio State and Cincinnati, plus many recording of the 1956 Olympic team prep games which feature Bill Russell. There are many hours of in person broadcasts, and while the condition of the tapes vary, most appear to be good enough to transfer over to better audio components. Due to the weight of this lot, shipping costs could be substantial.
