As one of the most distinctive postcard sets of this era, the 1907 Dietsche Chicago Cubs postcards capitalized on the immense popularity the Cubs enjoyed as they beat the Detroit Tigers in the 1907 World Series. The same company produced postcards of Tigers players, but the Cubs cards are at minimum 10 times more difficult than their counterparts. This Frank Chance example has edge wear, corner rounding and appears trimmed along the top. However, the reverse is unmarked and the card displays beautifully with a crisp image. This is a very rare postcard of Chicago Cubs Hall of Famer Frank Chance. PSA AUTHENTIC.
