The 2013 season marked the third straight year that Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton managed to lead his team into the playoffs. Not bad for a player who just wrapped up his third year in the league as well. Dalton did his best to lead the Bengals to a win in this white game used road jersey, worn by the signal caller in his team’s 30-20 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 15, 2013. Dalton, pinned with a 21-0 deficit after the first quarter, nearly managed to revive the Bengals, throwing for 230 yards and two touchdowns without a turnover in the loss. The moderately soiled jersey features “DALTON” across the back in white-on-black tackle twill on an orange name plate. Dalton’s number “14” appears on the front and back in black-on-orange tackle twill, while the shoulders boast “14” in white-on-black tackle twill with the black tiger stripes design and stitched white Nike swoosh logos. The right chest of the jersey features a stitched captain patch with two gold stars and a stitched “B” Bengals logo in the center above Dalton’s number “14.” The inside collar of the jersey features a “Nike” manufacturer’s tag with size “44” and an affixed black tag that reads “2013” for the jersey’s year. The jersey features heavy signs of game use, including large areas of grass staining on the back. The jersey was received directly from the Bengals Pro Shop and is tagged and marked “12/15/13 Pittsburgh Steelers” in black Sharpie.
