Ted Williams played left field for the Boston Red Sox for his entire 19-year storied career. Nicknamed “The Kid”, “The Splended Splinter”, “Teddy Ballgame”, “The Thumper” and “The Greatest Hitter Who Ever Lived”, Williams is remembered as one of the greatest hitters in the history of baseball. Williams signed this white-ash, “Powerized” Louisville Slugger bat in bold, blue Sharpie on the barrel under the engraved “GENUINE Ted Williams LOUISVILLE SLUGGER” label. The knob indicates the model number, “W166,” along with the PSA/DNA sticker with certificate number V04091. The signature has been pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
