As fine an example of an autographed photo of Babe Ruth you could hope to find, this splendid specimen is magnificent on multiple accounts; from the pristinely preserved vintage 1920's image of the Babe’s lengthy and elegantly penned signature in a thick and gracefully flowing black steel-tip fountain pen ink. Ruth’s four-inch long signature stretches across a late-era photo of a rotund Babe following through on a swing in home Yankees pinstripes, preceded by a “Sincerely” inscription and why not? Was there ever such a character as sincere as the Babe? Every fiber of his being rang true. The Babe never had to put on a show. He was the show from the February 6th, 1895 date of his birth to the last day that he graced the earth and in the long lingering shadow left in his wake. This museum quality photo reveals only slight wear at its corners without any creases or blemishes on its surface and comes with full JSA LOA (X03496) and a PSA/DNA (G56304) GEM MINT grade of 10 for the signature.
