Known for his prolific bat, Bret Boone was a good fielder, too, and good enough to win the 2004 Rawlings Gold Glove award at second base. This award has the standard Rawlings Glove on a pedestal flanked by two gold baseballs perched on small three-pronged stands made of baseball bats. The base measures 11 x 17 x 6.5 inches and features Boone’s image on the front along with a plaque reading “2004 RAWLINGS GOLD GLOVE AWARD Presented to Bret Boone Honoring His Selection As “The Finest In The Field.” While every other part of the Award is in tremendous condition as first presented to Boone, the two flanking perches for the baseballs have four of the six bats broken off near the top. Boone signed his name on the bottom of the base in black Sharpie “Bret Boone My GG”. This item comes with a full LOA from Bret Boone.
