As Shannon Sharpe's back-up, tight end Byron Chamberlain saw limited play during the 1998 regular season. But when Sharpe got injured on the Broncos' opening drive at Super Bowl XXXIII, Chamberlain stepped in with 3 receptions for 29 yards (including a 13-yard first down) and recovered not one but two on-side kicks. After Denver's 39-14 win over Atlanta, Chamberlain recalled, "When I went in tonight, Shannon said to me, 'You've got three quarters to make memories for the rest of your life.'" Indeed, it was a high point of Chamberlain's 9-year NFL career with the Broncos, Vikings and Redskins. In 2001 with Minnesota, he also earned Pro Bowl honors with 57 receptions, 666 yards and 3 TDs. Chamberlain's 14K-gold, size 12 ring features a staggering amount of diamonds accenting the double-stallion top design, the surrounding diamond bed, all four borders and the shanks. Manufactured by Jostens, it's one of the most attractive championship rings ever created and one of the ultimate collectible tributes to Elway and company's late-1990s dynasty. NM condition. Accompanied by superstar teammate Terrell Davis' signed 2013 LOA, reading: "I, Terrell Davis, acquired this original 1998 Denver Broncos Super Bowl XXXIII Championship Ring from my friend and back to back Super Bowl Champion teammate Byron Chamberlain." As a point of reference on value, it is important to note that teammate Derek Loville's 1998 Super Bowl ring sold at auction in 2011 for over $31,000.
