From Miguel Cabrera's first season, it was readily apparent that he was destined for greatness. Hitting 12 homers and 21 doubles in just 87 games, the 20 year-old helped propel the Marlins to the World Championship. This bat was used by him during his first campaign. The Tuff X Bat model 24 show excellent rookie year wear and is uncracked. Several ball marks with stitch impressions can be seen on the barrel and a moderate coat of Mota Stick is on the handle. Cabrera's soon to be famous number "20" is hand written in silver ink on both ends of this attractive bat. The barrel end also has the bat's weight "32.5" written in silver. PSA/DNA sticker I02551 is affixed inside the bat's cupped end. Cabrera has also customized the bat by putting a Venezuelan flag sticker to the left of the center brand. The rookie sensation signed the bat in gold ink to the right of the center brand and added "ROOKIE BAT USED IN 2003". Great piece from perhaps the greatest hitter in the major leagues today. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
