It was a game marred by a blackout inside the New Orleans Superdome, but in the end, the Baltimore Ravens won their second Super Bowl championship outlasting the San Francisco 49ers 34-31. For this victory, the team was awarded quite possibly the largest and most impressive rings, designed to honor that team and the organization's two Super Bowl wins. The crest is patterned like a football stadium and features the Ravens mascot atop two Lombardi Trophies (one for each of the franchises two Super Bowl wins) on top of a sunken bed of diamonds and “WORLD CHAMPIONS” in raised relief on the sides. The two upper deck end zones are comprised of even more diamonds, and each Lombardi trophy has diamonds throughout including two large marquise cut football shaped examples at .75 carats each. The entire top has 169 brilliant round cut diamonds. One shoulder has the name “BERRY” with the phrase “PLAY LIKE A RAVEN”, the Ravens crest and number “28". The other shoulder has the year “2012” with the Super Bowl XXXV logo, plus the Lombardi trophy with more diamonds embedded in the trophy and year. The extremely impressive inside features three separate arborings. First, the Ravens logo sits atop the saying, "The Team, The Team, The Team" and is adjacent to the scores of all the post season games, opponent and scores. This impressive 10K white gold ring weighs an unbelievable 92 grams, is a size 15 and was presented to player Damien Berry. The Championship Ring is the primary reason why athletes of all team sports compete for the title, and players who receive a Super Bowl ring cherish them more than any other possession. Opportunities to acquire a player issued ring does not occur very often, and this is certainly the first 2012 Ravens Super Bowl ring to be auctioned. Accompanying this ring is the original 6" x 4.25" x 5" presentation box, complete with background mirror with the Ravens shield and the recipient's name "DAMIEN BERRY".Overall, the ring contains 245 diamonds with a total weight of approximately 3.75 carats. This is an extremely rare opportunity to acquire an actual player Super Bowl ring. This new ring was presented to the players (including Berry) on June 7, 2013 and is in practically brand new MINT condition. Comes with copy of notarized sales agreement signed by Damien Berry, Clear Title statement to the ring and contract is authenticated by PSA/DNA.
