Nothing in this hobby sends a chill up the spine of collectors more than a single signed Babe Ruth baseball.

Many Ruth singles often have issues to the ball, with various scrapes and stains evident from being used at one time. Offered here is a beautiful single signed Babe Ruth baseball with Ruth’s flowing scripted signature perfectly placed on the sweet spot of this nearly perfect 1935-1939 Ford Frick ONL baseball.

Besides the early Barnard and Ban Johnson baseballs Ruth could have signed over the years, Ford Frick signed Ruth baseballs are extremely desirable due the long standing friendship Ruth and Frick enjoyed over the years.

Frick ghostwrote much of what Ruth was supposed to write for various news outlets, including Ruth’s well-documented 1925 World Series coverage and Ruth’s own Book of Baseball, and it was this friendship which pushed Frick to asterisk Roger Maris record of 61 home runs. This MINTY baseball has perfect stampings and only a couple tiny spots of toning, none which inhibit the perfect view of Ruth’s bold, blue fountain pen signature. Full LOA from PSA/DNA, who have also graded the ball excellent-mint+ 6.5. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
