While Sandy Koufax did not pitch for the Brooklyn Dodgers in the historic 1955 World Series, he did make his major league debut at the age of 19 for the Boys of Summer that year. Of course, Koufax would go on to lead the Dodgers to 3 World Series titles of his own, but it all started on a June day in 1955. This Rawlings Allan H. Selig Official Major League Baseball is signed on the sweet spot by Sandy Koufax in blue ballpoint ink. On the panel above the signature, Koufax has inscribed: ”BROOKLYN DODGERS * FIRST GAME 6/24/55 * 1955 WORLD CHAMPS”. Ball is accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA (Z00593)
