Throughout his amazing rags-to-riches life and career mighty Babe Ruth always made time for his fans and seemed to enjoy the process of signing autographs as much as the people who were receiving them. Consistently convivial the Babe always seemed to take a little extra time to look into the eyes of his admirers and say either “Hiya Kid!” or ask their name which he would often inscribe with his signature on a ball like the one offered here. Ruth signed this circa 1930s red and blue stitched Interscholastic League ball in black steel tip fountain pen with a “To Stanley Tripper from Babe Ruth” inscription on a side panel heading towards the sweet spot. This affectionately signed ball is evenly toned with a slight sheen, and most of the manufacturers labeling intact; comes with JSA LOA.
