Hank Aaron wore this Wilson size 44 button-down knit road gray Atlanta Braves jersey during the 1989 season. The jersey shows light to moderate wear and was most likely used during spring training or during Old Timers games. The jersey features “ATLANTA” sewn on in red and blue tackle twill in the special Braves font with the tomahawk beneath. “AARON” is sewn on in blue on a gray matching name plate and his “44” is sewn on in red and blue on the back of the jersey. Blue/red/blue piping runs along each side of the buttons and around the color, while the same pattern ends both sleeves. The manufacturer’s tag and an “89” swatch has been sewn on the bottom front left tail. This jersey comes with a full LOA from Mears, who have graded this jersey a perfect A-10 and a LOA from PSA/DNA (Z00086) for his signature.
