Graded NM 7 by PSA. Hall of Famer. Presented is a very solid example of a cherished Mickey Mantle collectible. Bowman's third Mantle card is regarded by many as the company's proudest effort. It features a magnificent photo of Mantle in his follow-through swing. "The Mick" looks like a youngster in his pinstripes (he was 21 years old in this photo) and the blue sky makes for a perfect backdrop. This is, of course, the key card in the '53 Bowman Color issue and a cornerstone to any 1950's baseball collection. The offered piece's four corners bear very light, acceptable touches, and the card's back is boldly printed. Near Mint condition.
