Graded NM 7 by PSA. Hall of Famer. By the time his fourth appearance on a Topps card was anticipated, Koufax had shown all of the indications that he would establish himself as one of the game's premier hurlers, and his cardboard collectible was eagerly awaited by all who appreciated greatness. Over a half-century later, the sight of his 1958 depiction is no less avidly relished, particularly in the superior state evinced by the example here presented. Flaming red, sun-bright yellow, and pure white envelop the hurler's crisp likeness on this item's cardfront, with solid, square corners contributing to its appeal. Even in '58—but especially now—a treasure, in clean Near Mint condition.
