On September 16, 1993 Dave Winfield solidified his place in Major League history when hit a single off Dennis Eckersley for his 3,000th career hit. To this day only 28 other men have reached that coveted number. The Louisville Slugger W285 is un-cracked and shows outstanding use. Very light checking is found on the back barrel and many ball marks with stitch impressions can be seen on the barrel. The handle has been scored and the edge of the knob taped to enhance the grip. A heavy coat of pine tar is present on the handle. Winfield has signed the bat in silver marker. PSA/DNA have awarded their bat a perfect grade of GU 10 (1B06503).
