In the days before Michael Jordan Dr. J WAS the NBA. No one could slam dunk like the Doctor and his four MVP Awards and three championship ring made the vote electing him to the NBA Hall of Fame in 1993 just a formality. This colorful warm up set was worn by Erving during his final season in the NBA. The royal blue snap-button jacket carries the 76ers logo patch on the left chest and the NBA logo on the right The sleeve openings, bottom edge and collar are trimmed with patriotic red, white and blue ribbing. All 6 snap buttons are complete and working. The size 44 MacGregor Sand-Knit label is in the collar along with Dr. J's number "6" and "2" LB" tagging. The back of the jacket has "SIXERS" in red and white tackle twill letters. The jacket exhibits moderate game use with some light staining visible on the 76ers patch. The matching royal blue pants have red, white and blue ribbing down the sides with blue snap buttons, all of which are present and working. The blue ribbed waistband has the size 34 MacGregor Sand-Knit label sewn on the inside along with two added tags with Dr. J's number "6" hand written in black marker and "37"IN".
