Because he was of such great inspiration to so many people many of Jackie Robinson’s signatures on items ranging from baseballs to cut out flats and photos contain personal inscriptions that must have meant the world to those for whom the items were inscribed. This Official Warne Giles Spalding National League ball was signed by Robinson in black ball point ink on a side panel with a “To Bobby Best Wishes” inscription and also contains the signature of Hall of Fame pitcher Robin Roberts which appears to have significantly faded and is barely noticeable just beneath Robinson’s signature which comes with PSA LOA certification number W02307.
