For all of his historic accomplishments a baseball signed by Brooklyn Dodgers ground breaking Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson remains one of the most coveted collectible items in the industry. This vintage De Beers baseball is signed by Robinson in green ball point ink with a “To Anthony Best Wishes” inscription and reveals remnants of other signatures which have apparently been removed including an abrasion below Robinson’s signature where one such signature has been rubbed off. The ball contains a layer of gray toning but is bright off-white where Robinson’s signature and inscription have been sealed with a light cover of shellac and comes with JSA LOA certification #B86657.
