The 1965-1966 University of Kentucky Wildcats are notable as the team that lost the 1966 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Final to Texas Western, as dramatized in the Disney film Glory Road. Despite that outcome, the squad affectionately known as Rupp’s Runts is still one of the most beloved teams in school history. This University of Kentucky Basketball Banquet Program from March 24, 1966, features 16 Wildcat signatures. Notable signatures include those of Cliff Berger, Brad Bounds, Steve Clevenger, Larry Conley (signed twice), Louie Dampier, Gary Gamble, Thad Jaracz, Tommy Kron, Jim LeMaster, Larry Lentz, Tommy Porter, Gene Stewart, Bob Tallent, Mike Herreld, and Pat Riley.
