Presented is a 50-card complete set of N217-2 "Butterflies of the World" non-sports cards issued by Kinney in 1890. This edition is perfect for hobbyists who love challenges and hobby "firsts." With no identifying names on the fronts, amassing a complete set is very difficult as each card must be checklisted on the basis of its design. Also, every cardfront is a small piece of a larger illustration making this series the first "puzzle" series—a concept used extensively for non-sport releases, but not for another 60 years. The cards' rich gold metallic backgrounds add to their visual appeal. Grades 40% EX to EX/MT, 40% VG to VG/EX, 20% lesser.
