Foster was the starting left fielder for the Big Red Machine as Cincinnati won back to back championships in '75-'76. The next season saw Foster win the NL's MVP Award. His 50 home runs made him only the 10th man in major league history to each that mark and his 149 RBI led the National League and missed the Triple Crown falling short of the batting crown by a measly .018. This Hillerich & Bradsby P72 model bat used during the '77-'79 seasons shows outstanding game use. The handle has been cracked and as you'd expect from a slugger like Foster, the barrel exhibits checking from repeated ball contact. Foster's number "15" is hand written on the knob.
