Though most remember Davey Johnson as the manager of some great ball clubs, back in the 1960's he was one of the AMerican League's best second baseman. Johnson's bat helped get the Baltimore Orioles to the World Championship in 1966 and then in 1969 to the World Series again where hey were defeated by the team he would one day manage: the New York Mets. Issued to Johnson specifically for the '69 World Series, the Hillerich & Bradsby M110 model bat has been made game-ready and is un-cracked. The barrel carries the special "1969 WORLD SERIES" stamping and Johnson has signed its barrel. A great bat specially made for one of the most exciting World Series in the history of the game. Letter of Authenticity (1B06475) from PSA/DNA.
