This Baltimore Orioles black alternate jersey was game used by Manager Davey Johnson during the 1997 MLB season. Jersey reads “Orioles 15” on front, “Johnson 15” on back. All lettering and numbering is orange with black and white trim. Russell manufacturer’s tag is found on front left tail, above a patch reading “1997”. Left sleeve is adorned with 2 patches, the Baltimore Oriole above the “200 Baltimore” Bicentennial patch. The right sleeve bears the “Jackie Robinson * 1947-1997 * Breaking Barriers * 50th Anniversary” patch. Signature and inscription on the back #5 reads “Davey Johnson Game-Used 1997” in silver. Jersey is accompanied by a COA from PSA/DNA #Z19956, as well as an LOA from noted game use expert Dave Miedema.
