This is a Minnesota Vikings purple home jersey, #23, with white lettering, game worn by Michael Bennett on December 24, 2004. On that date the Vikings hosted the Green Bay Packers. Bennett started at running back for Minnesota, carrying the ball 17 times for 92 yards, while catching 3 passes for 67 yards, including a 38-yard TD reception. The Packers prevailed; however, as Ryan Longwell kicked a game winning FG as time expired to give Green Bay the 34-31 victory. As can be expected, jersey shows heavy game usage. Bennett has signed vertically in black sharpie on the back numeral #3. Signature reads “Michael Bennett 23”. Jersey comes with a MEARS Letter of Opinion with a Final Grade of A10 as to Authenticity of game usage, as well as the jersey grading and authentication worksheet used by MEARS to grade this jersey.
