The Red Sox superstar used this bat during the last stages of his Hall of Fame career. In a 16 year career, all spent in bean town, Rice was an 8-time All-Star and helped slug the way to the 1986 World Series. The Cooper C243 model bat exhibits outstanding use and is un-cracked. The barrel shows many ball and stitch marks with blue ink transfers. There is the impression of a weighted batting donut and a moderate coat of pine tar. The length "34" and weight "31oz" is stamped into the knob over which Rice's number "14" is hand written in black marker. Letter of Authenticity (1B06450) from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat a GU 8.
