In his second year in Yankee pinstripes, the Chicken Man hit .342, good enough for the Silver Slugger Award and a spot on the All-Star team. The Rawlings two-tone 456B model bat used during the summer of '94 show outstanding use with a slight handle crack. The barrel is covered in ball marks with stitch impressions with white leather ball scuffs and blue ink transfers. Bat rack paint streaks can be seen and a moderate coat of pine tar is found on the upper and lower handle. The model "456B", order number "098" and year "94" are stamped into the knob end. Boggs' number "12" is hand written on the knob in black marker and "Boggs" is written in black ink. The Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in contrasting silver ink, topping of an already outstanding game used bat. Letter of Authenticity (E36308) from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat a perfect GU 10.
