1994 proved to be Puckett's last full year before suffering the eye ailment that ended his Hall of Fame career. Puck led the AL in hits that year, perhaps spurred on by the little inspirational message he penned on the knob of this bat. The Louisville Slugger P116 model bat shows outstanding use and is un-cracked. The barrel shows many ball marks and stitch impressions along with blue ink transfers and there is some checking on the back barrel from repeated ball contact. Red bat rack paint streaks are visible a moderate coat of pine tar is found on the upper handle. "Go Deep" is written on the knob end and "34" and PUCK" is written on the barrel end. PSA/DNA have awarded their bat a perfect grade of GU 10 (1B06543).
