A 9-time All-Star, Vladimir Guerrero was recognized by many as the quintessential five-tool player who could do it all. In 2004, he was voted the American League MVP and he helped lead the Angels to five AL West championships in 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009. Guerrero was voted as one of the most feared hitters in baseball in a 2008 poll of all 30 major league managers and on September 26, 2011 he became the all-time MLB leader in hits among players from the Dominican Republic.
This 2009 Rawlings maple M491B model bat measures 34.25 inches and weighs 33.9 ounces, consistent with factory records. According to the PSA/DNA LOA, the bat is un-cracked and shows evidence of outstanding use. It is also autographed and inscribed and Guerrero’s uniform number (27) is written on the knob.
