Little is known about offensive guard Robert Patton (1927-1990) except that he graduated from Clemson and played 12 games for the '52 New York Giants, recording one fumble recovery. Patton's NFLPA ring was produced by the obscure manufacturer "Star" and features 20 points' worth of diamonds as part of the NFL emblem design on top, with an NFL-logo helmet and striking raised-relief eagle on the shanks. The elegant 10K-gold, size 9-1/2 showpiece is marked with an ID code "719-5" inside the band. EX to EX-MT condition. Accompanied by Patton's 1989 handwritten signed LOA as well as a 2007 purchase LOA.
