Prince Fielder made his first big league appearance as the DH in the June 13, 2005 in which he went hitless. The Brewers sent him back to the minors after a few games, but he was back to stay in August. This rookie year Louisville Slugger C271 model bat shows excellent use and is un-cracked. There is some checking on the barrel from repeated ball contact along with ball marks, stitch impressions and white leather ball scuffs. Cleat marks are visible and the lower handle and knob have been taped in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip. Fielder's number "28" is hand written on the knob end in silver pen. Factory records show Fielder ordered this model bat on September 26, 2005. A great rookie year bat from the 6-time All-Star. Letter of Authenticity (1B05268) from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat a GU 8.5.
