Hideo Nomo wore this grey Detroit Tigers Jersey on the road during the 2000 season. The jersey reads “Detroit 23” across the chest in black lettering with orange and white trim, with Nomo 23 on the back in matching style. The Russell Athletic manufacturer’s tag denoting size 50 can be found on the front left tail, above a tag that reads “00-23-1-71”. Interestingly, this particular jersey can be considered an error, as the “Detroit Tigers 2000” patch commemorating the opening of Comerica Park has been attached to the left sleeve upside down! Jersey shows light to moderate wear, and is accompanied by a LOA from noted game use expert Dave Miedema.
