Iron Man Cal Ripken, Jr. poured it on during the last stretch of his 2,632 consecutive games played streak.During the 1991-1997 season Cal hit .278 with 145 homers capped off the the second of his two AL MVP Awards. The Louisville Slugger P72 shows good game use with several ball marks and stitch impressions with white leather ball scuffs and blue ink transfers on the barrel. A light coat of pine tar is on the handle and Cal's number "8" has been hand written in silver on the knob end. The Iron Man has signed the barrel in silver ink making this a great game used stick from Ripken's best years. Letter of Authenticity (z19917 and 1B06541) from PSA/DNA.
