The Philadelphia Phillies won their second World Series title in 2008 as relief pitcher J.C. Romero was the winning pitcher in Game 3 and the series clinching Game 5. Romero wore this New Era size 7 1/8 fitted cap with the World Series logo patch on left side during this series. The hat shows signs of use with a hole on and fraying on top. Romero signed and inscribed on the brim “#16 08’ W.S. Champs! GAME USED” and “Winner of Games 3 and 5”. Romero also inscribed on the inside of the hat “DIOS, Family God Control My Life. I’m here 4 a reason 16” “Baseball Todo Lo Puedo En Cristo…..Go Get Them!”
This lot also includes 2008 World Series Logo baseball that has been signed by Romero in blue ink and inscribed on the sweet spot “#16 08’ W.S. Champs!”. The side panel has been inscribed “Game Used Baseball. 2008! Winner of Games 3 and 5”. This lot comes with a full LOA from JSA.
